Bug Description

This is a very popular WLAN USB Stick in Germany and it would be great if it worked OOB for Ubuntu Users.
As far as i can tell there is a LGPL-, and a proprietary part of the driver, so it is very much like the nvidia drivers.
There are already some restricted drivers for some older hardware components of this manufacturer available in the repositories ( avm-fritz-firmware ).
To get a rough overview of the popularity of this hardware, go to http://www.ubuntuusers.de and search the forum for "fritz wlan usb".
