I find that when a sync is in process (upload) the UbuntuOne app refuses to quit. It doesn't seem to hang for me (it remains responsive), it just ignores the quit command and I have to force quit.

thanks, mfoord - one question - which quit command are you using to try to quit it?
- quit in the "UbuntuOne" menu in the menu bar
- cmd-q
- quit in the dock icon
- quit in the "menu item" menu, on the right side of the menu bar?

some of these have different code paths, and the dock icon and main menu bar will be going away shortly.

I *normally* attempt to quite with cmd-q. However when U1 fails to quit I try all three methods "just in case". I've seen this a few times recently even when no sync is in progress.
