Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx

The very latest version of fglrx supports compositing with AIGLX, which is really required if the desktop effects feature is going to work. The version currently shipping with feisty lags one version behind that one.

Thank you for the report. While there is a newer version of fglrx out (8.35.5), it does not yet support AIGLX. Beryl/compiz users will still need to use XGL with fglrx. Due to the current status of fglrx I am closing this bug.

Perhaps I misinterpreted http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=367#c25

It seemed to imply that the bug was fixed, but maybe it was just asking (again) for the bug to be fixed.
