Bug Description
When I try to run the software updater and install the updates I get a window that pops up and says:
AN ERROR OCCURED
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
First of all I have no idea how to do anything manually... I'm a class A rookie on Linux..
This error pops up on any update package I try to install.

It seems that you canceled the installation of software or turned your computer off during that process.
Open the Terminal from Applications > Accessoirs > Terminal and enter the following command:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
And press Return
