Bug Description

After a suspend to Ram or an hibernation, I can't get anymore my wifi card (module ipw2200) to work. It used to work, so I guess a recent update is the cause.

It seems related to dbus and Network Manager. Restarting this service makes Network Manager work again.

Same problem here. If I kill wpa_supplicant after resume then most of the times NetworkManager works again.
Nothing in the logs about any errors can be found. (K)NetworkManager tries to connect, sometimes it connects but the connection is lost right after that again. Sometimes it isn't possbile to get any connection. The wireless networks available are shown in the list though.

Hardware: ipw2200

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?

If it is still an issue, can you try adding wpa_supplicant to
/etc/default/acpi-support so it gets automagically restarted? Does that
work for you?

Thanks in advance.
