your xorg.conf doesn't look normal, but could you try without it (move it to another place or name from /etc/X11/xorg.conf)? Maybe it's the nvidia binary driver which has difficulties.

Ok, tested renaming the xorg.conf file. After reboot the maximum resoution is 800x600.. shuld be 1920x1080. So now shuld I try somthing else?

Yes, edit the conf to use "nv" driver, not "nvidia", and add "1920x1080" to the Modes.

How do I do that?
Shuld I name the xorg.conf_tmp back to original name xorg.conf and then do
what to use the nv driver?

Ok, so you are probably using the free driver now ('nv')? Please attach the xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log.

It is probably the driver for the Nvidia maby it gets fixed when Envy comes for Fiesty. http://www.albertomilone.com/nvidia_scripts1.html

No, I cant't get this to work. I got the Nvidia drivers to work. My other monitor works fine. But with this Mirai 42' lcd panel no. As said it works in windows right away without installing anything.

displayconfig-gtk didn't have this monitor in its database, so I've added:

Can you also run `sudo ddcprobe` and paste the results here?

Also, we've made a number of improvements to x resolution detection recently. Its possible your issue is fixed, however given your xresprobe results I am suspecting this is a dupe of (unfixed) bug 94994.

Hoj!

Please try with 7.10 or hardy alpha1, and without xorg.conf if it doesn't work otherwise.
