Bug Description

Binary package hint: gaim

#1: I open gaim (2.0.0 beta 3.1)
#2: In "Kontaktliste" (=contact list) I try to add a buddy by right clicking on the group
#3: gaim crashes immediately

Tried it with Ubuntu Feisty, Gaim 2.0.0beta6 (EN) and nothing happened. Could you try to upgrade and see if the problem persists?
