Partition from a former installation can't be mounted on '/' during installation.

Binary package hint: ubiquity
This bug occurs when you try to mount an old partition on / during the installation. The partition has to be a one which is already there in the system and has not been newly created using "gparted".
1. During the partitioning process, "Manually edit the partition table" was chosen.
2. The different partitions were shown in "gparted".
3. "Forward" was clicked, without modifying the partition table
4. The screen where one has to mount all the partitions at the specified mount points comes into focus. Choosing a partition which was mounted on / from an earlier Linux installation was chosen to be mounted on '/'. The "Reformat" check box was ticked.
5. Clicking on "Forward" says that "No root partition" selected.
If I go back to gparted, delete this partition and create a new one from the freed space and mount it on '/' the installation moves forward.
