Bug Description

when i try to search the calendar in the filter at top evolution crashes. i'm on feisty amd64 ubuntu. i've also got a bug report from it attached....

I encounter the same problem. I've installed evolution-data-server-dbgsym. I followed the instructions in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace

Here's the bug buddy report -- I have evolution-data-server-dbgsym installed. I'm not sure why it's giving me the no debugging symbols error.

hopefully the new traces will help. I'd describe the crash situation the same way although I'm not positive it's exactly the same bug.

Ok, I'll give it another shot. I thought I installed all the requisite
dgbsym files.. give me a day.

I'm still not getting any debug symbols. I think like I've followed the instructions on the wiki to the letter: http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces/ApplicationSpecificInstructions#Evolution

could you try to attach gdb to evolution-data-server before the crash rather than using bug-buddy?

Got it. I've attached the result. Here's the juicy part:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Both searching in Calendar and Tasks works fine for me now with evolution 2.12.0 in Gutsy.
