Bug Description

Hi.

I have a Intel board..
i have 2 SATA hdds(160 and 200 GB) and a PATA.

i did not want to install a boot loader so iphysically disconnected the other 2 hdds and connected only the SATA 160 and installed Ubuntu on it on a partition of 10 GB.
the rest i formatted it as windows partitions.

now.
i have set the boot device priority in BIOS to Sata160 on which Ubuntu is installed
The system boots fine when thye PATA disk is connected but the system refuses to boot when the other SATA200 is connected.

It gives me an error message about mounting problem.

I tried to work around this by connecting both the SATA hdds and then installing Ubuntu on the 160GB but no results.

The system simply refuses to boot when i connect both the SATA hdds. but works fine when i connect the PATA hdd..

Please help.
