[Enhancement] Email Labels

Bug Description

When entering email addresses, it would be great if there was a way to assign an identifying label to each record. For example, in one record I have six addresses that get sent to simultaneously. Instead of seeing all six addresses, I would like to assign a label such as "Family", "Friends" or "Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Sharon, Kimberly".

I suppose the term would be "friendly labels for emails".

Obviously this is not urgent, but it would be very handy.

Fixed in branch lp:calibre. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.

Very cool! Thank you very much! I hope I am not the only one who sees an advantage in this enhancement. I truly appreciate all of the hard work that goes into Calibre.

Just downloaded and installed Calibre update. The email alias field is
wonderful! Thank you for doing this!!

Glad to explain Salvador. Go to preferences, add one or more email addresses to a record, then assign a label to that record. For example, I have my brother, mother, sister and girl friend in the same record, I have labeled this "Family".
