Bug Description

I'm bored of incoming spam from people I don't know. I use ICQ protocol only.
How may I block unwanted incoming messages from people not on my contacts list?
It's a standard feature for Miranda, Gaim, even genuine ICQ client.... I was unable to find it in Kopete settings...

Thank you,
Paul

According to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63839#c42 , this seems to be fixed as of KDE 4. Which version of Ubuntu/Kubuntu are you using? What about kopete?

Hi Julio,
It's Kubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft.
Kopete 0.12.3 using KDE 3.5.5

Please advise if it's possible to upgrade to KDE4 and how.

Thank you,
Paul

It's not, really. it's not very usable, at least the last snapshot.

We'll have to grab this fix in kde4
