Bug Description
I have Asus A6L (A6B00L) laptop, it has a special hardware button to turn the touchpad (synaptic) on or off. In previous versions of Ubuntu (6.10 and 7.04 Alpha Herd 5) To make it work, I added to the touchpad section of xorg.conf this line:
Option "SHMConfig" "true"
But in the release of 7.04 I haven't found even a line about the touchpad in xorg.conf! :( So I added this section:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad"
Driver "synaptics"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"
Option "SHMConfig" "true"
EndSection
and reloaded. But unfortunately it haven't work... :((
