Hi Erich.

I think that is better to translate those strings in rosetta directly, instead of patching the package, because if you do that, then the next time the lang packs are built, this bug will appear again.

Could you translate them there? The language packs are built once a month, afaik, so this bug will be fixed soon, then.

Thanks
Emilio

Hi Emilio.

I agree. This is my first contribution. I'm learning how to report and fix bugs.
It's necessary to report this kind of bugs? Or its better go directly to rosetta and fix it?

Thanks
Sorry for my poor english

Erich

It's better to fix it directly in rosetta if you're a member of the Ubuntu Spanish Translators, because then the translations will be fixed next time the language packs are built, because your translations will be directly approved, since you're an official translator.

However, if you aren't, then your fix will be blocked as "needs review", and you'll need to find a "sponsor" to review and approve them. And as the translators won't notice your change, it's better to file a bug and subscribe (or assign the bug) to the ubuntu-l10n-es, or mail their list.

Regards
Emilio
