Bug Description

I downloaded kubuntu fiesty iso image file, burnt it on to CD and booted my DELL Inspiron 5160 laptop with this cd. I then got a black screen and after some time, got this message "Unknown entry in config file." on left top of the black screen. Nothing happened after that and i had to reboot my laptop by hitting the power button.
I am currently dual booting my laptop with XP and Edgy.
Didnt had this problem with Edgy or Dapper.

Hello, i booted the LiveCD in safe graphics vesa mode by appending boot options "nosplash single"
and then did "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-org" at root prompt to generate new xorg file and then invoked gnome.
