Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu

When I log out as a user and return to GDM and then log back in main-menu isn't working properly with dbus. Trying to launch epiphany gives the error:
"Startup failed because of the following error:
Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-SL27UmQQmT: Connection refused"

Banshee also complains when trying to run it, giving a warning that dbus isn't found. If I alt+F2 these programs run fine, but for some reason when launched by main-menu I get these errors. I currently don't know a workaround. Restarting GDM and dbus didn't give me any luck.

Hi Craig
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with development release of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?

Thanks in advance.
