Bug Description

Hello,

I have tested Edubuntu dvd amd64 (3508440d9b40fcf3159d5e50505cc63d *raring-dvd-amd64.iso), on live usb persistent.

1) On Sistem Setting > sound > Input > on input level the sound is detected (view the screenshot attached).

2) gnome-sound-recorder not perform ations (view the screencast attached).

Ubuntu 13.04 (raring) reached end-of-life on January 27, 2014.
