cant load new packages

Bug Description

I tried adding support for windows networks but it keeps giving me an error so I put the CD in and tried to open the package manager but it gave this error :

'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/us.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_feisty_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'

Have you tried with apt-cdrom ?
