Bug Description

Lenovo ideapad with BCM4313, upgrade to 13.04
12.10 used drivers bcma, brcmsmac
13.04 chooses kernel module wl, package bcmwl-kernel-source, 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu2

This causes exception on boot
Therefore network fails to launch
Therefore many commands hang: sudo ifconfig ctrl-alt-f2, computer hangs on shutdown

get-around:
in grub, select advanced options, then reccovery
in menu select root
at #:
mount -o remount,rw /
echo "blacklist wl" >>/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
shutdown -r now

The computer reboots without Wi-Fi

here's what appears in syslog on boot:

echo brcmsmac | sudo tee -a /etc/modules
reboot
