Show more details button provides a single too long line

Bug Description

When using places -> search for files and searching for an a folder rather than a file an error message occurs. "The search results may be invalid. There were errors while performing this search." with a Show more details button. When clicked a single long line of text opens (see screenshot) that is longer than the visible screen. The window must be manually moved in order to read all the text.

To recreat:
1) in ubuntu go ->places ->search for files...
2) search for a folder i.e. "/apps"

As an unrelated side what determines the folders that show up in the look in folder drop down. I have some i do not want and strangely file system is missing. Unfortunately the forums have not been of help with this.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? I am unable to reproduce this issue. Can you try with latest Ubuntu release?
