highlight doesnt find filetypes.conf

Bug Description

$ highlight *.h
highlight: Configuration file /etc/highlight/filetypes.conf not found.
highlight: Unknown source file extension "h".
$ ls -la /etc/highlight/
insgesamt 12
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2007-04-25 09:36 .
drwxr-xr-x 150 root root 8192 2007-04-25 09:36 ..
david@turm:~/uni/070416_cpp-templates-folien/src$

I did a apt-get remove highlight, apt-get install highlight and got the same. Also I did a aptitude reinstall highlight - no changes.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?
