Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

The weather applet can retrieve a radar map from weather.com.

Nevertheless, I would be much more interested in retrieving a weather forecast for the next days, which is also available from the same webpage. This would greatly increase the applet's usefulness in my opinion... could it be implemented?

Note that for some locations, e.g. in the US, forcasts have been provided for a while. Certainly in Boulder CO US with Weather Report 2.30.0 it works. So the problem seems to be one of finding freely distributable information for a variety of other locations, as the upstream bug documents.
