Bug Description

After the update to Feisty on several machines I get this warning:

[mntent]: warning: no final newline at the end of /etc/fstab

All these machines have ntfs-3g running and the last edit was made by ntfs-3g, so I suppose the bug ist there.
Adding the newline at the end of fstab solves the problem.

From ntfs-3g upstream: ntfs-3g doesn't write, not even reads /etc/fstab. It was probably ntfs-config or other mount helper.

When I unmount a cdrom mounted automatically in gnome, I get the same warning.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?
