Bug Description
Binary package hint: kopete
I was playing with Sleep and Hibernate last night and neither would work. Due to a strange lockup in my whole system this morning (unresolved) I was going through my /var/log/ files and came across this information about my sleep/hibernate attempts:
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173235.725363] Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173235.725420] Stopping tasks ...
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173255.848653] Stopping kernel threads timed out after 20 seconds (1 tasks refusing to freeze):
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173255.848737] kopete
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173255.848793] Restarting tasks ... <4> Strange, kopete not stopped
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173255.913393] done.
Apr 25 00:55:18 eljefe-desktop kernel: [173255.913664] Enabling non-boot CPUs ...
Needless to say it never went to sleep or into hibernate. If you'd like more information please let me know!
