GTK dialog loses filename

Bug Description

Note: Actually this seems to be the same bug as bug 101851 .

This is really inconvenient for downloading pretty much anything if you don't want to type a new filename manually.

1. Try to download anything through a browser
2. In GTK's 'Save As' dialog that shows up, double-click any of the shortcut directories on the left

And the default 'save as' filename is gone. But right before it disappears completely, it flashes the name of the first file in the current directory.

It's in Firefox 2.0; the build that came on the Feisty install CD.

The bug always happens for me if I change to a quick-directory first thing, but not every time after that. I *think*, from my amateur attempt at QA, it's, for some reason, instantly selecting the first item in the directory contents, and if the first thing's a file because there's no subdirectories in there, it assumes I'm looking to overwrite that file. So when it changes directories a split-second later, it naturally eliminates that filename from the form.

And thanks for noticing my report.

On further search this bug and bug 101851 are both just duplicates of bug 93396 -- can someone edit this to reflect that?
