I have made this report visible only to its subscribers due to security risks with your password and username being exposed. I would also recommend changing your gmail password.

Did the error appear whilst you were installing, or when you first tried to use the package?

On second thoughts, if you can replicate this error, please do so, and submit a new bug report. Email me (<email address hidden>) with your bug number and I will reject this, and begin triaging your new one.

Please try to remove the username and password from the description if you can next time.

I realized the password thing to late but i changed it and i also changed m gmail password. i will try and reproduce the bug. it appeared wile i was following the instructions on the official gmailfs site. it appeared to me when i was trying to get it running for the first time.
(so the installation went well.)

But i will try to reproduce the bug and i will send it to you

The change hasn't quite worked, the system keeps a record of your old description, which includes your password. (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gmailfs/+bug/110079/comments/0)
The only people able to solve this would be the Ubuntu Bugs team or Ubuntu-QA team.

If you want, now that you have changed your gmail password, we can drop the privacy lock, and just use this bug report?

Simple me (simpleme) wrote :

Yeah you can do that, because i can't reproduce it. ( cant you edit the description, so it will not show my password etc etc )

And just to let you know for me it shows up like;

PackageArchitecture: all
ProcCmdline: python /sbin/mount.gmailfs none /mount/gmail -o rw,username=[username i used]@gmail.com,password=[password i used],fsname=[disk name i used]

So maybe we should post a bug for the bug system :P .

Right, bug is no longer private. Maybe we should.. but it's probably due to me being in the bugsquad team or something like that.
Right, So are you able to reproduce it? Or can you mount your gmailfs now?
Or does it fail silently. I'm off to bed now btw, will check back tomorrow.

Good morning,

No i'm not able to reproduce and gmailfs isn't mounted yet. But whatever i tried to do i only get text errors in my terminal and there is no sign of the bug system popping up again. Sorry

Can you copy the text errors here? If there is too much data, can you attach a .txt file?

Also, can you check your system log ( System > Administration > System Log ) and see if there is anything in there about the failure?
