SJ Should pre-spinup drive before ripping

Bug Description

I've noticed a "ticking" sound in the first two/three seconds of some tracks I
ripped.
I think this is due to the drive going up to speed while beginning the read. SJ
should so add a pre-rip spinup, maybe just 5 seconds and then start reading.

Another interesting feature to inherit from Grip is the separation of the
reading and the encoding processes in two separate threads, so that many cds can
be read and queued to encode.

Btw, i think that this should be reported upstream, but other opinions should be
interesing to hear.

upstream comment:

"If a CD drive can't reliably read sectors, something is seriously wrong. In
any doubt cdparanoia should catch the errors and re-read the sectors. *So*
NOTGNOME."

I'm reassigning to cdparanoia

Is this bug still present in Breezy?

Actually I've successfully ripped some of my favourite cds without any problem.
I'd still love to have the ripping and encoding phases separated, as grip does.
