Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

OK,I can mount into /media/... using fstab, but since the upgrade from Edgy my drive no longer appears on the desktop (as SEA_DISC), nor in 'Places'.
The external drive is a seagate 320Gb, formatted out of the box as FAT32.

Reboot makes no difference. nor does turning off and on the device, changing USB ports, removing other USB peripherals.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta? (gnome-mount)
