Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnumeric

simple fix: I got the gnumeric.mo and gnumeric-functions.mo from a user in #gnumeric and saved them to /usr/share/locale-langpack/de/LC_MESSAGES

Could you give more details?
gnumeric.mo is shipped in the language-pack-gnome-de-base package (gnumeric-functions.mo seems to be missing though), did you install it?

No, I didn't have it installed (did it just now). Maybe there is a dependancy missing then? Please let me know if you need more information.

Yes, we could, and perhaps should, since they contain other useful translations (apport, displayconfig-gtk, evince...). The only issue will be the available space on the live-cd...
