Bug Description
Binary package hint: rdiff-backup
I dunno, I just wrote my own backup script using rdiff-backup to backup my home to my tmp dir. This was so that I could then tar up the results, encrypt the tar, and then copy it to a Windows samba share(The only place available I can backup at work).

This is a dup of bug 109981 from the same person. Problem is due to Samba share not supporting long filenames.
