Due to a policy change (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-motu/2007-November/002684.html) I set the status to 'Triaged'. Set it back to 'In Progress' once you have a source package up for review.

Thanks in advance,

I have read the guide to packaging in the ubuntu wiki and feel pretty confident. A mentor would be helpful but I don't need one that badly.

I would be really interested in working on this package or another one like it.

Thanks very much,
Daniel

To be honest, this application is (if I recall correctly) not the easiest to begin with.

So if Siyad is ok, I think Daniel should give it a try since he already went through the packaging guide :)

And here comes another one that needs mentoring :)

I haven't done anything yet for Ubuntu (ok, a couple of translations), so I'd like to start contributing!

I've read & understood the packaging guide, and would like to start packaging :)

I saw it has passed almost a month from the last post here, so I'm assuming both Siyad and Daniel gave up on this one. Am I right?

Thank you in advance,
Marko

No, I just haven't logged on in a while. I'd still like to try :-)

Since this application has not been updated for 2 years and it's a KDE3 application, I don't think this would qualify for inclusion in Ubuntu. (KDE3 is slowly going away and unmaintained applications cannot enter the archive)
