Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Almost every time I close OpenOffice after I have had several docs open, OpenOffice will restart on it's own in recovery mode. It isn't when it crashes (that doesn't happen often) it is when I purposefully close the application, generally when I have several OOo docs open.

I've just installed Ubunt in my HP notebook and openoffice does not work. It opens in recovery mode and when I click on Ok button it closes unexpectedly.
Any workaround?

Can you still reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 7.04? I tried opening various documents and then closing OpenOffice Writer and it didn't crash on me.
