Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

I am running ubuntu 7.04 and laptop seems to recognise presence of wireless card but it is not connecting to my wireless network even when I input correct connection data, such as the correct 10 digit code to connect. The wired connection works fine. Could I have the wrong driver? And if so, how do I download the correct one. I am a novice with linux and especially ubuntu linux.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
