libcurl 7.15.5-1ubuntu2 + curlftpfs 0.9.1 hangs!

Binary package hint: libcurl3

This problem with libcurl 7.15.5 is already documented at ->

1) I mount a remote ftp folder successfully

2) I can copy/paste successfully but when i try to stream mp3s it hangs in middle :-(

    mpg123 <xyz.mp3>

3) This problem goes away after i manually compiled libcurl 7.16.2 :-)

So why are we still stuck with old and buggy package in the repository ???
