Bug Description
Binary package hint: mplayer
Well the summary says it all: the mouse is locked in the middle of the screen anytime I run mplayer while the ~/.lircrc exists.
To reproduce it just
$ touch ~/.lircrc
$ mplayer some_file.avi
This happens even when running mplayer-plugin
#38594 and http://
I'm running on a feisty PIV machine using the radeon xorg driver on a ati 9600
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 AQ [Radeon 9600]
as a temporary solution I added the line
lircconf=
to ~/mplayer/config

Maybe the problem is not in the players but in xorg: I tried many video output (sdl, x11, xv) and none works
