Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

There are a number of likely duplicates, but from the apt logs, this does seem like a different problem. This computer has been upgraded since at least Breezy. I'll attach the needed logs in a second, but I don't see any errors.

So I saw in a similar bug here that the apt.preferences might be a problem. I saw that I had added a restriction to feisty a while ago (probably picking up some future package version that I forget now).

Removing this file and rerunning the update-manager worked great.
