USB mass storage does not get mounted automatically when hotplugged

Bug Description

I use a Sony vaio vgn-fe21b.
Description
When i run edgy my notebook mount automatically all external hd when hotplugged, but with feisty, gnome mount all external usb-hd when hotplugged. I had re-installed ubuntu from feisty-alternate-cd.

what happens:

when on sony vaio vgn-fe21b I plug any external hd, gnome do not mount automatically external hd, if I try to plug a usb stick, gnome mount automatically usb-stick when hotplugged without problem.

I include all logs from dbus hal dmsg etc etc

please help me!
