lexmark x2470 not supported on ubuntu

Bug Description

i havev not tested at all, but it seems that lexmark x2470, an all in one printer, is not supported on ubuntu. please correct. thank you.

Unfortunately there is nothing Ubuntu can do. Lexmark printers in general have very little or no Linux support. Unless Lexmark makes detailed technical information available (and they do not appear to do so), it is not feasible for third parties to write printer drivers. The closest model I could find at linuxprinting.org is http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Lexmark-x2450. I'd suggest you contact Lexmark and encourage them to provide Linux driver support.

It would appear from my reading of this that they are making all required details available for creating linux drivers.
