Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.22-1-xen

Hi,

Just installed 2.6.22-1-xen kernel. There are two problems for this package:
1) The description on page http://packages.ubuntulinux.org/gutsy/base/linux-image-2.6.22-1-xen mentiones that this package shall be installed by using linux-xen metapackage, which doesn't exist in Gutsy.
2) The package, even though installed with all other necessary tools (with ubuntu-xen-desktop metapackage), does not boot as Dom0, but successfully boots as DomU or normal kernel. It gives the error: "ELF start or entries are out of bounds". Hipervisor - Kernel mismatch? Or the comment about booting as Dom0 is wrong? (I've never seen any kernel above 2.6.20 which is able to boot as Dom0).

Regards,

Emre

Rejecting for now because -xen is no longer being provided. Once we get a stable patch in, we can test and review its usability.
