I didn't select firefox, although it also crashed. The bug report system
selected it and I couldn't see how to change it.

This Netgear wireless card works with the liveCD but crashes all 3 laptops
we tried it on.

Unix is a very user-friendly system.
It's just not promiscuous about which
users it's friendly with.

Thank you raiman3 for your report,

Notice the date when the crash report was generated "Date: Sun May 6 17:35:02
2007", maybe apport was *confused* after the general crash and told you to
report that old issue (*just guessing*). Were at /var/crash other crash
reports?

The retrace shows that this particular issue has already been reported as bug
#85627
[1] (MASTER firefox crash [@ IM_get_input_context]). Which is a type of
crash related to video streams, at first sight nothing related to your PCMCIA
crash.

Please feel free to add any other information you might consider to be related
to this particular issue (e.g. a test case) either to [1] or [2].

And, of course, please don't doubt to report any other crashes/issues you might
have in the future.

Further information can be found at [3].

Again, thank you.
