Bug Description

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

If I switch users with fast-user-switch-applet (2.18.0-1, gutsy), it doesn’t lock my screen. If I use System → Quit → Switch User instead, my screen gets locked as expected.

This seems to be working correctly now in gutsy tribe 4 (20070808.1 i386 d-i, desktop install).

On Hardy Alpha 6, I can not confirm this issue. Both methods of switching users seem to behave in the same manner. Has any one else tried in Hardy?
