can't select text in LABEL element

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

It's not possible to select the text on a LABEL element in a form.
For example, if I try selecting the text above the text box I am typing this into, eg the word 'reproduce', I double-click on it or click and drag, and as soon as I release the mouse the selection disappears.

The workaround is to select MORE than the label text, but this is not always possible or convenient.

Yes:
- Look at this page. Try to select some text in one of the comments, for example the two "m"s in "comment". This works properly.
- Now expand the "add a comment" section. Try to select the two "m"s in the word "Comment" above the comment text box. You can't.

Thank you for taking the time to file this ubg report with us. Closing due to age. If this is still a problem in 3.0.7 please reopen this bug.
Also please reopen with all new information on how to reproduce this bug by giving us step by step instructions.
We also need what happens what is expected to happen.
