Bug Description
It takes 2 minutes and 40 seconds of a blank screen before Ubuntu starts!.
My PC: HP 753, 2.53 Pentium 4, 512 MB of DDR SDRRAM.
With Ubuntu 6.06, it takes less than 1 minute and, during startup the screen displays
booting informations.
The same problem with a previous installation was reported by me, with no success.

2. Please run the command 'dmesg > dmesg.log' and attach the resulting file 'dmesg.log' to this bug report.
3. Please run the command 'sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log' and attach the resulting file 'lspci-vvnn.log' to this bug report.
