Bug Description

No detect CD/DVD writer.

"No CD/DVD writer found.
K3b did not find an optical writing device in your system. Thus, you will not be able to burn CDs or DVDs. However, you can still use other K3b features like audio track extraction or audio transcoding or ISO9660 image creation."

and it used to work. one of the updates probable broke the system.

I still can read CDs using the device. I did not try DVDs. The drive is a low end CD+DVD combo inside of simple HP box.

DH16DYS is apparently CD-ROM/DVD-ROM combo. indeed there is no writer. looks, like i am lost among all those PCs i have/had
