Bug Description
If you try to log in to Launchpad, but get your email address or password wrong, the page shows an appropriate message. However, the email address field is cleared. The email address field should remember what you entered, so you can see your mistake and corrected it, or see that it was correct and quickly re-enter your (correct, this time) password.

This sounds like bug #2164, (Login form should ask for e-mail address only once), but it's a different issue, by the way.
