Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image-
On my server (ubuntu feisty amd64) the wheel mouse don't work, because when i start my server the mouse, keyb and display it's switched on my desktop computer, it's really nessessary for me.
I want to force my mouse Logitech Explorer detection, the server kernel start with: input: PS/2 Generic Mouse.
I test with different parameter to force it, for exemple:
sudo rmmod psmouse
sudo modprobe psmouse proto=exps
dmesg | grep input
[ 40.232250] input: PS/2 Generic Mouse as /class/input/input3
and not on my switch kvm it's switch on my server.
[ 630.887821] input: ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse as /class/input/input6
I have added also a conf /etc/modprobe.

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package. We are automatically migrating this bug to the new "linux" package. However, development has already began for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. It would be helpful if you could test the upcoming release and verify if this is still an issue - http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing . If the issue still exists, please update this report by changing the Status of the "linux" task from "Incomplete" to "New". We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. Thanks!
