Bug Description

Final version of Wengophone 2.1 was released on the 15th of May. This new version turns Wengophone (http://www.openwengo.org ), a cross-protocol IM client, into a fully fledged SIP client, as any SIP account can now be used. It would be great to have it in Feisty. Thank you!

Thanks for trying Bishiboosh!

If anybody else is interested, getdeb has packaged openwengo 2.1 in the meantime, it works pretty well for me: http://www.getdeb.net/release.php?id=909

Please consider using the attached debdiff (against gutsy version) for backporting into feisty:
* as it depends on boost 1.33, gcc/g++ 3.4 must be used instead of 4.1
* use internal cURL library, because system version for feisty is only 7.15

Wengophone in feisty (2.0) is completely unstable.

Please backport wengophone 2.1.2 from hardy to feisty. As it needs some changes in compilation flags, I am attaching a debdiff.

Thanks for your work, Ludovico -- can you provide testing packages and have yourself and another person (at the least) confirm that it functions? I think this is a good candidate for a source-change backport.

Ok, thank you for directions.

I changed the version string in order to get it right with building with prevu. Here is the new debdiff.

I just tested it on x86. It works for me.

Thank you folks for testing. I'll mangle the debdiff a bit and find a core-dev sponsor.
