Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When someone has marked to many buttons as visible for the toolbar, there a new button appears (as a down-arrow like v) which when pressed appears the extra buttons (the ones that doesn't fit to the toolbar) in a collapsible menu.

If the button "background color" or "fill color" (the one that fills the background color of a word or phrase) doesn't appear on the toolbar, but is placed to the collapsible menu, then the button doesn't work.

Normally, when pressed it should "open a toolbar where you can click a background color for a paragraph". But this doesn't happen.

This bug i know that can be confirmed by other people.

I can confirm this problem. If the button is in the normal tab, it opens up palette which allows to choose a color. Wenn it is collapsed in the menu, it does not open the palette, but only takes of the background in the line of the cursor.

OpenOffice Version 2.2.0-1ubuntu3

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
