Bug Description

libtomcrypt, an easy-to-use cryptography library, needs to be packaged
It can be downloaded from http://libtom.org

Package: libtomcrypt
Version: 1.17
Upstream Author : Tom St Denis <email address hidden>
URL : http://libtom.org
License : Public Domain
Description :
LibTomCrypt is a fairly comprehensive, modular and portable cryptographic toolkit that provides developers with a vast array of well known published block ciphers, one-way hash functions, chaining modes, pseudo-random number generators, public key cryptography and a plethora of other routines.
LibTomCrypt has been designed from the ground up to be very simple to use. It has a modular and standard API that allows new ciphers, hashes and PRNGs to be added or removed without change to the overall end application. It features easy to use functions and a complete user manual which has many source snippet examples.

Due to a policy change (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-motu/2007-November/002684.html) I set the status to 'Triaged'. Set it back to 'In Progress' once you have a source package up for review.

The package will be automatically synced into lucid (Ubuntu 10.04). If you want to have the package in karmic, you need a FFe. In this case reopen the bug report and follow the freeze exception process: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#FeatureFreeze%20for%20new%20packages
