wine crashes with desktop effects

Greetings,

I am currently using Feisty and have Wine 0.9.35 installed.
The error message,

X Error of failed request: BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter)
  Major opcode of failed request: 54 (X_FreePixmap)
  Resource id in failed request: 0x3201ae9
  Serial number of failed request: 190308
  Current serial number in output stream: 213052

only appears for me when desktop-effects are active, however when desktop-effects is turned off it will continue happily. The programs I have found to run without Glitches are: Photoshop 7 and Dreamweaver 8. It is only when desktop effects is on and while navigating the windows that the programs will spontaneously quit and the above error message appears.

My Hardware is:
Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
1.25Gb RAM
Intel Onboard Graphics

Good Morning Xan,

first of all, I think you are using the packages from winehq, just because feisty has only 0.9.33 in its repository.
Secondly, your problem is more likly to be solved upstream Please go to http://www.winehq.org/ and file your bugreport in their bugzilla. They will ask you more question to find out how to solve your problems.

Personally I think wine is not the best app to run under aixgl/xgl with compiz/beryl enabled.
